When you book a session or event through our website, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and payment information. Payment processing is handled securely by Square — we do not store your credit card details on our servers.
We use your information to process bookings, send confirmation and reminder emails via Acuity Scheduling, and communicate about your session. We may also use your email to send occasional updates about our studios.
If you provide your phone number when booking, we use it to send transactional text messages related to your booking, such as confirmations and appointment reminders. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for assistance. We do not sell or share your mobile information or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messages are delivered through Twilio, which processes message data solely to provide this service on our behalf.
We use PostHog to understand how visitors use our website. PostHog collects anonymous usage data such as pages visited and time on site. No personally identifiable information is shared with PostHog.
We advertise with Google Ads. To learn whether an ad led to a booking, our pages load Google's advertising tag, which may set its own cookies. When you arrive by clicking one of our ads, we also save the click identifier Google adds to the link (such as gclid) in a first-party cookie and your browser's local storage for up to 90 days. The cookie banner controls our site analytics (PostHog); it does not turn off Google's tag or the saved click identifier.
When you complete a booking, we tell Google that a booking happened, its value, a booking reference, the ad click identifier if we have one, and your email address in hashed form. Hashing (SHA-256) turns your address into a code that does not show the address itself; we send it so Google can match the booking to an ad click. Google's tag hashes it in your browser, and when our server reports a booking it hashes the address before sending it. Google receives no payment details from us, and we do not send Google your phone number.
You can turn off personalized ads from Google at adssettings.google.com, and you can remove the saved click identifier by clearing cookies and site data for whitewallstudios.co. Google handles this information under Google's Privacy Policy.
